Backend Engineer(NCS/Job/ 1375)

Years of Experience: 6+ years

Primary Technology: NodeJS, TypeScript, and Express.js

Work Location: Pune (Onsite)

Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST

 Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years backend development experience, preferably in distributed/microservices environments.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience using LangChain to interface with LLMs (mandatory).
• Proven experience with LLM prompt engineering and fine-tuning (mandatory).
• Basic to intermediate experience in Python (for AI/ML tasks).
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (Google Cloud preferred, AWS acceptable).
• Understanding of microservice architectures.
• Ability to write and maintain comprehensive tests for backend systems.
• Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration and working across time zones.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Terraform.
• Familiarity with CircleCI.
• PHP knowledge is a plus (not mandatory).
• Prior experience integrating third-party AI vendors.
• Background in media, publishing, or newsroom technology is advantageous.
