Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Java Developers with a strong background in Spring Boot and proven expertise in US Healthcare Claims. The ideal candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, with a focus on healthcare claims processing systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements related to US healthcare claims.
• Develop and optimize backend services for claims intake, adjudication, and processing workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-impact features.
• Mentor junior developers (for the 9+ years role) and contribute to technical decision-making.

Skills Required

• Strong programming experience in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot framework.
• Solid understanding of US Healthcare domain, specifically in Claims processing (EDI 837, 835, adjudication logic, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and writing complex SQL queries.
• Exposure to message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
