JD:
1. Firewall Configuration & Management
· Experience with Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
· Understanding of PAN-OS and how to apply WildFire Analysis Profiles to security policies
· Ability to create and implement LLDs
2. WildFire Deployment & Integration
· Knowledge of deployment options for WildFire in various environments (on-premises appliance, cloud-based service)
· Ability to configure WildFire appliances, including VM interfaces and appliance-to-appliance encryption
3. Threat Detection & Prevention · Familiarity with malware analysis and sandboxing techniques · Understanding of how WildFire identifies and prevents zero-day threats
4. SSL Decryption & Traffic Forwarding · Skills in forwarding decrypted SSL traffic for analysis · Configuring Content-ID and TCP settings for optimal threat detection
5. Panorama Management · Experience with Panorama centralized management of WildFire clusters & firewall policies
6. Monitoring & Reporting · Ability to monitor WildFire submissions & analysis status via CLI and GUI · Understanding of log formats and how to interpret WildFire reports
7. Project Engagement · Planning and executing deployment phases, managing own role in larger timelines, and coordinating other teams as required
8. Documentation & Reporting · Creating detailed documentation for configurations, policies, and incident reports
