- Identifying potential vendors for related material procurement & labor suppliers.
- Compare & evaluate offers from suppliers & preparing comparative statements
- Negotiate with vendors/suppliers for pricing
- Track Orders until ensuring timely delivery of materials to site
- Review quality of purchased products & specifications with site project manager
- Correspondence & dealing with suppliers, carriers regarding shortages/rejections by site personnel
- Maintain the details eg., Vendors, quantities, prices into internal database.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information & purchases.
- Prepare reports on purchases including cost analysis
- Maintenance of progressive expenditure statement project wise
- Procurement as per BOQ & place order if necessary, in consultation with site personnel.
