Job Description

Job Title Process Executive – General Ledger Accounting – Shared Services
 
Job Purpose This position is responsible for understanding end to end process and identifies process deviations/gaps and it’s resolution. This position will also work on standardization and improvement of the process to meet the desired quality standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understands, gathers and upgrades knowledge about the company’s products, processes and services from various sources
  • Working on the month end activities that are critical to ensuring that the financial statements are showing a true and fair view at the month end.
  • Adhering strictly with the defined timelines as per the Corporate Closing calendar.
  • Performing the day-to-day activities (Journal Posting/Accrual/Prepayment/Deferred Exp/Revenue/Bank Recon)
  • Perform General Ledger Reconciliations and follow-up on any of the reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Must be analytical driven and proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be a keen observer and provide great attention to details.
  • Individual contributor with an ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Work on development / enhancement of the process.
  • Creativity / Innovation.
 
Academic qualifications & Certification : Must hold a B.Com degree in Accounting / Finance
 
Professional Experience
 
  • Experience in BPO/Shared Service organizations will be added advantage.
  • Experience in SAP preferred.
  • Eagerness and ability to learn new things.
