Job Description

  • SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) is a functional module within SAP S/4HANA that helps businesses manage and optimize transportation processes, including planning, execution, freight costing, settlement, and analytics. It integrates with other SAP modules like SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).

    Key Functional Aspects of SAP TM

    1. Order Management

  • Integration with SAP SD, MM, and external systems for sales orders, purchase orders, and stock transfer orders.
  • Automatic creation of freight units from orders.
  • Support for both inbound and outbound logistics.

  • Optimization of transportation routes, carrier selection, and load consolidation.
