SAP Data Archiving Consultant(RARR Job 5184)

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Data Archiving Consultant with 6+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in implementing end-to-end SAP Data Archiving projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of archiving strategies, tools, and integration with various storage and imaging solutions. Prior experience in large SAP environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver full life cycle SAP Data Archiving implementations.

• Design and execute archiving strategies for standard SAP objects across modules like FICO, SD, MM, PM, etc.

• Perform archiving on SAP S/4HANA environments, including EWM Archiving and simplified blocking and destruction.

• Provide expertise in purging SAP tables and managing large data volumes.

• Work closely with functional teams (FI/CO, Logistics) to ensure alignment and data integrity.

• Collaborate with Basis, Security, and ABAP teams for a seamless archiving and retrieval process.

• Manage Content Servers and Imaging Solutions such as PBS PCL, IXOS, Filenet, Documentum; experience with PBS PCL is preferred.

• Implement and maintain PBS Add-Ons and ensure their compatibility with SAP environments.

• Document archiving procedures and train users on data retrieval and compliance standards.

• Utilize ITIL processes and tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident and change management.

• Follow project implementation methodologies and deliver high-quality support in production environments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of SAP Data Archiving experience.

• At least two full end-to-end SAP Data Archiving project implementations in large-scale environments.

• Strong understanding of SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, MM, PM, and EWM.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Data Archiving and Simplified Destruction.

• Proficiency in SAP Tables, ABAP (for custom objects), and data purging techniques.

• Familiarity with Content Servers and third-party imaging tools.

• Experience with PBS Add-Ons and archiving integration tools.

• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Exposure to ITIL frameworks, ServiceNow, and MS Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in SAP Archiving or related SAP modules.

• Experience in regulated industries or projects with compliance and data retention requirements.
