SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant(RARR Job 5185)

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Tech-Functional Consultant with a strong background in both functional and technical aspects of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2–3 end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects. This role requires hands-on expertise in SAP MDG, ABAP development, and a solid understanding of data governance principles within SAP environments

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end SAP MDG implementations, including configuration, customization, and integration.

• Develop custom enhancements using ABAP to support MDG-specific requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define master data models, and implement governance processes.

• Perform technical analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation for SAP MDG solutions.

• Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise data governance standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to master data processing and data quality.

• Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of MDG solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and automation opportunities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).

• 2–3 full-cycle SAP MDG implementations as a Tech-Functional consultant.

• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including enhancements, BADIs, and user exits.

• Deep understanding of SAP architecture and data governance frameworks.

• Ability to design and implement MDG data models, workflows, and UI configurations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., ALE/IDoc, Web Services).

• Exposure to industry standards for data management and compliance.
